THE BARCH magnetite - hematite-pyrite iron deposit is situated within the Huff area. Soviet data indicate an iron content of 52%. Dimensions of the occurrence are 1,800 meters of length, between 25 - 120 meters wide, and a dip angle of 35º - 55º. The relative proportion of iron minerals is not known at this time. Chalcopyrite is noted as an accessory mineral. Detailed information will be acquired from the Tajik Geological Survey.
